Is there any regulating authority in your industry?
Yes, in order to operate as a Monumental Mason you must first obtain a Monumental Mason licence from the Cemetery Board of Western Australia. This will ensure the business meets all requirements necessary to operate in a Western Australian Cemetery.
How long will it take for a Headstone or memorial to be installed once the order has been placed?
Normally around 12 weeks from the time the deposit is received..
How much of a deposit is required when an order is placed?
Once an order is placed a 50% deposit is required, the balance payable on the completion of the order.
Does the colour of the stone vary from the stone samples?
Yes, there can be slight variations in colour as Granite is a natural product and each block of granite is individual and can vary slightly.
Will the granite change colour over time?
No, the Granite will not change colour over time, unlike Marble which is generally a softer, porous stone and therefore is prone to chipping and discolouration.
Is all Granite suitable for Memorials?
No, not all Granite is suitable for monumental use, i.e. they may crack or fade when used outdoors. All colours sold by us are 100% Guaranteed not to fade or crack.
